Tonight we would like you to say a prayer for another family. I am saddened to hear the news about the terrible accident on the highway earlier today. Nyron, the 10 year old boy who died in the accident was part of the JBF ward, he was suffering from kidney failure. Being part of that group is bittersweet. We are happy to see each other on Tuesdays for clinic, or whenever we go to the ward, see our children still fighting and thriving and many times we also wonder, will we get to see them next week. In less than a year after Logan was diagnosed I had already been to 5 childrens funerals. It was crazy. I am at a lost for words, that its not kidney failure that took Nyrons life who was currently waiting on a donor, but someone elses reckless driving. To Nyron, his mom Nanda and his dad. God knows best. May you all rest in peace. May God give your family strength to deal with this loss and the other two boys who have now been left without a mom and a dad.
