Tonights Dad Facts: Spuds, You are playing The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco this week. And though you’ve visited San Francisco many times, there are a few cool things you may not be aware of. I’m not sure I ever told you that your Grampa Russ had a foul ball hit by Willie Mays fall into his hands while attending a game at Candlestick Park. Unfortunately, it had so much spin on it, he couldn’t catch it. As far as music goes, you may be interested to know a couple of things…Al Capone played the banjo and gave concerts to his fellow inmates during his time at Alcatraz. Also, The Beatles gave their last full concert at Candlestick Park in 1966 (they played the “rooftop set” in London in 1969). Hopefully, this isn’t Portugal’s last full concert!!! Have fun.
