Tonights show was amazing on so many levels. I tell you. I have to be one of the luckiest musicians in the world right now. Im in the number 1 retro band in the world. We love each other and it shows. We were the headliners at one the biggest festivals in the world tonight. Nile Rodgers is a gem of a guy to work for and work with. Jerry Barnes kills it every show. Curt Ramm is one incredible trumpet player and one heck of a nice guy. Richard Hilton is on point every single show and is one funny guy. Bill Holloman is not only a great saxophonist hes also an incredible singer, trumpet player, trombone player, bassist, guitarist and friend, Folami Summer Time is not only beautiful she is great vocalist and show-woman who gives it all every single show, Russell Graham is a octopus with many super talents and a great friend and Kimberly Davis is so freakin out of control. Her voice is truly a thing of wonder and amazement. Ive said this before and Ill say it again. I am honored to be a member of the Chic Organization. I cannot and will not forget our super crew. Marco Dellatorre, Nick Gosling and John Ryan. They hold everything together. Without them we would be a mess. They know us and take good care of us on stage. Cant forget Peter Herman. Hes a Headley (In Living Color fans know exactly what Im talking about) 23 jobs and counting. There is one man that has been in the Chic Organization for many years. His name is Terry Brauer. He passed away today. He was the super glue in this organization. A true professional, the giver of true words, whether you liked it or not, a friend and brother to us all and a man that we are all so proud to have known, traveled the world with, laughed with, cried with and loved deeply. He will be missed ever so dearly. I personally want to tell every member, past and present, that I love you all and thank you for being a very important and meaningful chapter in my life. Selan Lerner, Cherie Mitchell-Agurs, Jessie Wagner, Sylver Logan Sharp, Steve Jankowski, Don Harris, Bill Harris, Dan Moretti, Gerardo Velez, Melissa MJ Jiménez. I look at life as one long time traveled road with many twists and turns, bumps and smooth lanes but no gear for reverse. Once its done there are no turning back. Its on to the new road. Embrace every moment like its your last and tell those you love how much you love them because there will come a time when the road of life will end for us all.
