Tonight’s food for thought: What is coercion? It is to make - TopicsExpress

Tonight’s food for thought: What is coercion? It is to make (someone) do something by using force or threats or to get (something) by using force or threats. It can also be to restrain or dominate by force (religion in the past has tried to coerce the irreligious). ***To compel to an act or choice (was coerced into agreeing)*** This last one is something to keep in mind. It would be nice if somewhere along the line the jury next week is reminded what the definition is. I have said from the start of my involvement that when WCHS, The Dog Warden and her assistant, and the Sheriff’s Department were all at Vicki’s home and making all kinds of promising statements to her… that this is exactly what they were doing. Sherriff Towns told Vicki to cooperate with the demands of Lisa Stalter and Pam Welch (for the most part, Lisa) or he would arrest her. If I were to say something similar to my children, they know I mean business and that they better do what is asked. So, one could think that Vicki was under the same understanding but even more threatening. Do it, or get arrested. Now just because Lisa has her nose as far up any law enforcements ass as she can get it, does not mean that they personally work for her or should be doing her any favors. They should be doing their job as described in an unbiased manner. I would like to know why it is that Sherriff Towns was in the office of Rhonda Fisher calling the witnesses?! Did he suddenly get a law degree? Is Rhonda incapable of doing her job? (well, that goes without saying in my opinion) I would think this would also be coercion!! On top of that. he is calling people on the witness list and asking them about Vicki’s mental health. First of all, he is not qualified in mental health to my knowledge and therefore should not be asking any questions out of his scope of practice. It is unethical. Now, he can attest to what he had witnessed but that is it. Any judgment call or other speculation IS JUST THAT!! Steve Towns, when you owe 150,000 plus for a Master degree in mental health counseling you let me know… because that is what I owe for my degree, and until then do ONLY the job you are educated on and don’t take on something else. You will end up looking like a pompous ass! Oh do we want to get started on the police corruption in Williams County? Not sure anyone wants to go there! I have a list a mile long of the crap they cover up for friends. Anyway, this is just another bit of info for those of you out there to read. Oh and as they probably do not have my phone number to contact me directly, I will gladly give it to you. I think I am one of the few people testifying that has not received a call. 419-212-1074. I am actually sad to say that I recently saw Steve Towns at the National Day of Prayer and thought that maybe this man did stand for something other than the corrupt acts of WCHS…maybe next week he will show a different side.
