Tonites open water swim was fantastic, thank you all that made it. 32 was the count despite afternoon t-storm sketchiness. Conditions somehow lined up, great water temps hovered around 80, very minimal wind, and sun actually after an afternoon of sprinkles and suspicious clouds. Always very proud of our first time open water swimmers, great effort! I will post on the RMS home page by 6:30am if we have any ride cancellations. Hard to tell by the radar map what truth will arise manana. We are riding both courses, both are marked, I will have cue sheets for the new revised half course on the 56er. Olympic folks have a small course change. All are up on the site now, RichmondMultisports click Richmond Rox page, course maps. There were some questions as to where to meet for the ride tomorrow. Park in the lot closest to Old Main & Main ( rt 5 ), the Brown Greer law office parking lot across from Conch Republic and yes, we invite you to join us to eat and have a beer/beverage there after. The Oly riders can run while others finish the 56 miler! Or catch up on emails, free choice. For Olympic distance riders that need to ride more mileage, feel free to go back out to the 7-11 to pick up 8 more miles. Stay tuned to twitter feeds on @trirms + RMS homepage on the weather that we cannot control. Bring course maps, pump tires, cash if you are stopping at Citgo on mile 18 or Gulf station on mile 34.
