Tony Pike & his GUILLOTINES score a double at Ellerslie. After a mammoth 24hours results wise for GUILLOTINE there were 2 more winners too add when Tony Pike produced ALLEZ EAGLE & MAID OF STEEL in a race too race double. First up was 3yo Filly MAID OF STEEL (Good Reflections) who off the back of 2 placed efforts broke her maiden status in start #3. Leith Innes had her relaxed throughout and from the 150-200m mark from the post made his move and put the field away in a tidy effort. Full Sister GO TEENA was 3rd Monday. Flashy 4yo Gelding ALLEZ EAGLE (Alleyrun) made it 3 consecutive wins & 6 from 11 starts when taking out Race 8 at Ellerslie, the Rating 85 1400m. He over-raced a little behind a slow pace and then took a while to hit top gear in the straight, but once he got warmed up he was simply too good and strode out to win by half a length, winning in the style we have become accustomed too.
