Tony and Janet Schinske dropped off some Delight Shop memorabilia - TopicsExpress

Tony and Janet Schinske dropped off some Delight Shop memorabilia at the Todd County Museum today. The 3 gal cream can was what the soft-serve icecream mix came in from Wadena, MN. The popcorn seasoning can - before the Cozy Theatre next door had its own popcorn machine, the Delight Shop popped all the corn for the movie goers. The single malt machine, pictured with Reiny in the upper left background photo, and the nickel coke glass. (Coke in a glass this size cost a nickel) The Delight Shop opened for business on August 8, 1947! And closed in 1967. The museum is thrilled to add these items to their collection! They are now on display. (Museum is closed tomorrow, but open regular hours next week)
