Too bad some maroons cant tell the difference between make believe and reality. While its remotely possible that someone might be encouraged to commit or tolerate acts of real life violence by a video game, its far more likely that the vast majority of players are fully aware of the cartoon and satirical nature of the game. GTA 5 is about taking on the persona of a criminal. No one is pretending the missions or acts of violence are to be emulated. By this standard, there should have been no Sopranos or Sons of Anarchy. Or Natural Born Killers, etc. This is just another example of censorious Puritan humorless assholes trying to get their way. A game is a game. In the era of Amazon, retail boycotts are a thing of the past anyway. Its not like this is going to stop anyone from getting or playing this game. m.bbc/news/technology-30328314
