Too bad theres no brown, but Michaels stores Woolike acrylic/nylon blend fingering yarn has 6 of 7 colors that vary from pretty good to very good. The grey and purple are the weakest due to being too light, but this would be great for socks, a fine gauge scarf or other projects. Colors are 4 Mauve, 8 Olive, 12 Pumpkin Spice, 11 Charcoal, 14 Golden Yellow, 16 Tan. This line only has 21 colors in the first place. What are the odds wed have so many hits? If you cant find a compatible brown, it might be worth stashing these 6 until one comes along. I mean, its $2.99 ($1.99 on sale right now!) for 678 yards. Um, hello!
