Too much going on this weekend. Something for everybody. Stop by - well be so busy you can probably just shoplift half the things you want. -Chris Crow came up from New Orleans last night, so early this afternoon well have fresh shrimp, mussels, and clams. -More grains on the shelves. Barley, bulgar, millet, wheat germ, organic whole wheat and oats, gluten-free flours. -Hugh came by, so theres plenty of Sweet Magnolia ice cream. Hes starting to shift into his warm weather flavors - blueberry, strawberry, orange cream. Lots more. -Theres tempeh now for the folks who have been looking. Its similar to tofu, but more flavorful and versatile. Kefir and goat milk yogurt in too. -Hanger steaks will be back this afternoon. -Mr. Wesley from West Monroe, LA will set up next to the store Saturday with his food truck. From 11-6, hell be selling gumbo, etoufee, and jambalaya. He also fries calas. Picture a beignet that had to work for a living. -Plenty of new plants in if you feel like playing in the yard. The coolest new ones are the patchouli bushes. Plant one by the house to repel insects and attract hippies. Enjoy your day.
