Too my surprise...my strongest of my two hives this year I lost somehow...just realized today. I posted several videos of both hives doing so well so far this winter and now Im left with no bees in the one give. I took a few pics...any disease yall see that I dont? There were very few bees dead and left on the hive. I suspect that the other hive beside it has started to rob its honey stores today since it has been fairly nice. I also found a queen cell with a large larvae(pictured below) in one of the honey supers...the new queen I put in this hive in early summer for whatever reason liked to go up top... I peeked in on my other hive and they are all the way to the top super and in the center :/ still look strong. I plan on opening up the dead hives honey supers to them tomorrow since its supposed to be really nice. Do you think this will help them along or should I be doing something else as well since they have burnt through their stores and are at the top?
