Too often I hear people say I have to change my life before I can come to Christ...Ive done this or that, Im this way or that way, I have this addiction...etc.. I believe this is one of the biggest lies the enemy makes us believe. One, in fact, that I myself believed for the longest. You see, Jesus doesnt want perfection. If we were perfect, we wouldnt be in need of a Saviour. Jesus wants us as we are, where we are. In our mess, in our sorrow, in our mistakes, our weaknesses, He is there to make us into a new creation. ( 2 Cor 5:17) There is nothing we can do to earn His salvation, for it is a free gift. Gifts are given out of love and free will , out of a desire within to share with another. Jesus has that desire to share with us His free gift of eternal life with Him. He wants to show you that no matter what youve done, said, even thought, is beyond His grace and love for you. He wants to free you from all that binds you! (John 8:36) I hope and pray that anybody out there reading this message knows that Jesus is calling out to you. Come as you are, the time is now. He is waiting on you with arms wide open.
