Too often believers think they can by-pass the process of inner change and growth required to enter into the greater things of God and take hold of His mysteries; that just because they have had one or a few supernatural experiences with God or maybe even without God, that they have been promoted and are exempted from the process of growth and transformation into His likeness. No one who is truly seeking the heart of God and His ways can escape the schooling of the Holy Spirit and the transformation that occurs within their spirit as a result of clinging to and embracing the instruction given in the written Word. Without embracing the discipline it requires to know God, following Him, and doing as He instructs you will not know God and you will miss out on divine appointments that He has set in place before you. There is nothing more tragic than coming to yourself and realizing that God had prepared something for you and you did not take it because you were too busy being like Him instead of being as He is. ~ The Journey @2014
