Took a couple of days off to decompress...just trying to gather and organize all of these thoughts and ideas running through this old head. I want to make sure that I am doing all that I can to honor my sweet baby girl so that she will continue to inspire those around us! So, with that being said, it gives me great pleasure to announce that Charles and I have decided to put the beginning steps together by starting a movement called, Charlies Touch. The mission, Touching the lives of special families near and far. In a nutshell, this embodies everything that Charlie does. She touches, she inspires, she brings joy to everyone around her. So every month on the 15th, (4/15 is her birthday so we chose the 15th of each month), Charlies Touch will touch someone or family. An example would be a gas card for a family who travels for their childs medical appointments or treatments. Another example might be diapers. Maybe its a massage for mom. We will need your help with this. If you know of someone or you are someone in need, please email us via charliebuford via the contact us tab, with a short paragraph of how Charlies Touch could touch your life or situation. If selected, Charles and I will notify you for more information. Please understand that although we would love to help everyone, we would really like to limit this to those with extreme hardships and those that are truly in need. There will be much more information to come as we work towards all the legaliites behind making this movement a true non-profit organization. If anyone has any insight, tips, or pointers on how to do this and you wouldnt mind sharing, we would appreciate any information.
