Took a long time to set behind me all that I was told to be. Youre half Jamaican so that makes you black because youll always be just another n*!!#r in the eyes of racists youre a half breed you have to be Christian for god to accept you etc... I am thankful for my Spirit instinct, and the many feelings, callings, and people (like Wayne Nanabush, Duke Redbird, Pat Green, Mike Cootchie, Shelleen and Barb Northgrave ) for all the encouragement and and insistence to learn about my Anishnawbe heritage, learn the language, songs, traditions, and teachings. Without which id not have found my healing, accepted all that I am, made the progress I have. Most importantly, id not be a father to our beautiful twins!
