Took a vacation day to go elk hunting again I hit the bush hard and was very tired by the end of the day but no elk. it had snowed overnight just a skiff at about 4500 feet where I was also the wind was blowing about 20mph I hoped that would help cover my sounds but the frozen rain from the night befor gave me away crunch crunch crunch. I did get to see some very pretty country, I sat in one area leaned against a stump with a camo blanket around my legs to help keep me comfortable. I made a snack of some flat bread and peanut butter while I took in the sights. still got next weekend, will have to come up with a new plan of attack.
