Took my kids to the beach to play and swim today and spotted a pod of about 40 dolphin out in the blue. My friend, Usee, was up to going for a swim so we ventured out. My friend Tracy offered to lifeguard my kids in the surf while I swam out.... way out. It was so fulfilling to see the pod spinning and dancing in the big blue sea. On the way back I felt energized and looked beneath me. The dolphins were directly below me... A bit further and they surrounded me, I became one of them. It was truly a life affirming moment. I swam very far, against the current, without fins, to get back in, and I felt powerful. Life is worthwhile.
