Took part in a competition today, to help raise money for cancer prevention. Not sure if that was the best idea, as my body is exhausted and wanted to quit and I was an emotional wreck. However, I survived. The best/worst part was struggling across the finish line in dead - last place, struggling to hold the weight, crying my eyes out, while every last person in the place watched and cheered for me. I love this sport. I love the camaraderie. I love my friends and family for the support. I hate chemotherapy and how much harder it makes my life right now. But I love that I competed today and did my best. SCREW YOU CANCER!! You have no hold on me!
