Took part in the discussion on Dr. Govinda Tumbahangs presentation about sociolinguistic survey in Chhathare language held in CNAS at TU in the afternoon. One of his points stroke my mind; dialect variance in Chhathare due to the clans and not based on the geographical reason. He thinks that Maden in Chhathar is different from the Maden in Taplejung or anywhere else in the Limbuwan districts. I have been now really hooked towards the scholars who are studying the Genealogy of the Limbus. Im afraid that history may contradict the findings or the findings may startle the history. My dear FB frenz, could you suggest me any help that I may know the genealogical study of the Limbu clans?
