Took the familys tablet to a Green Party training day yesterday. Took a few notes on it. Reverted to paper and pen for the next session, but did find it handy for taking pictures (the tablet, not the exercise book). Amused that they are the same size and have the same shade of green cover. My luddite streak persists, though really, I do TRY to engage with the new technologies! * * * Travelled in a total of twelve different vehicles / modes of transport in order to get there. Treated a changeless pregnant lady to a wee at Paddington Station (30p for the turnstile). Talked film-making with a student at Cheltenham Uni on a replacement bus. Hailed a London cab (hey, simple pleasures, thats not something Id done before), and survived a mock-up hustings training session. Ate lunch in the garden at the event, in the sunshine. Ah, that was summer! :-) (Looks out the window at the rain, which is also welcome and part of the way of things) Happy Monday!
