Took the time to make my personal Top 10 Films of 2014. Thought Id share: 10. Snowpiercer 9. Fury 8. Edge of Tomorrow 7. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 6. X-Men: Days of Future Past 5. The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies 4. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes 3. Interstellar 2. Birdman 1. Gone Girl Honorable Mentions: - Nightcrawler - Godzilla - LEGO Movie These picks were chosen based on my overall enjoyment once leaving the theater, despite any flaws they may have. I just had to go with my gut reaction based on a few criteria: Did they inspire me? Create a conversation? Were the performances &/or directing impactful? Entertain me? So on & so forth. If I answered yes to any of those then they were in the running. Its also worth mentioning that I obviously wasnt able to see every movie that came out this year... not even close. There are many I wanted to but never got around to it. I could probably also make a Top 10 List of Shame of films I desperately wanted to view but havent yet... but we will save that for another time. This in no means is a definitive list. Its just my opinion & Id be curious to see what made your top 10 this year. Sound off in the comments if you are so inclined to do so.
