This is because of the policy of your destination country and there are over 60 countries with this restriction (including those traveling to the Philippines). 9. However infants below 1 year old are exempt from requiring an appointment when applying or renewing passports. 8. Some countries (mostly South Africa) require at least 2 blank pages in your Passport. Instead, bring both passports. 6. Did you travel to Israel and want to visit someone in the Middle East? You will need a new passport as many Middle East and African countries will deny you entry. 5. Are you a Philippine passport holder traveling to an ASEAN member country? Then you do not need a Visa! :) In fact, you can travel to over 20 countries without a Visa and to over 20 more with Visa on arrival! 4. Did you know that most travelers are advised by their embassies to leave their passport at the hotel when they visit another country. If you are more paranoid and choose to bring your passport around, keep it safe and dry. 3. Damaging or defacing your passport is a criminal offense with a fine between P60,000-P150,000 and imprisonment of 6-15 years. So take care of your passport, getting it accidentally wet or drawn on by your kid is a crime. 2. Hong Kong and Macau no longer stamps your passport. Instead a landing slip will be printed and inserted into your passport which you should not lose. 1.
