Top Executives at Private MNC Banks like ICICI, Standard Chartered, CitiBank, etc get paid top dollar because they are able to palm off routine work to unauthorized agencies who work for a dime to a dollar. Your credit card application is NOT processed by the bank but by these third party, non-contracted, not identifiable, hole in the wall companies who hire cheap labor. No wonder there are now so many cases of identity theft and misuse of identity documents. All this while, the main regulator, RBI, and its men sleep with their dicks in their hand and overlook misdemeanors of their pet banks.
