Top Honour for Jack King Congratulations are in order for a favourite Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club stalwart Jack King who received his NSWRL Life Membership pin on Friday night. Former Test Captain and current NSWRL chairman Dr George Peponis presented Jack with his prestigious award for his outstanding contribution to the sport of rugby league at a special presentation ceremony at North Ryde Golf Club. The long serving Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club director was recognised for 64 years sterling service as a coach and administrator for the Balmain Junior League and the Hawks. Jack will attend the Balmain Tigers Life and Foundation Members’ annual luncheon today at Tigers Five Dock. Meanwhile the 2015 Tigers are back in training and Balmain Tigers Fighting Fund is selling special edition signed Heritage Balmain Tigers footballs.
