Mangalore : Customs Officials at MIA also seized 3,400 British Pounds equivalent to Rs. 3.45 Lacks from a person who was about to board for Dubai. The person was arrested & sent in Judicial Custody. Further investigation is in progress under the guidance of D Purushotham,IRS (Commissioner of Customs, Mangalore International Airport). 6. Pune : Cental Excise Officials have arrested Mr. JK Sardana, Managing Director of UB Engineering Ltd. for Service Tax Evasion of Rs. 35.31 Crore.
