Topic: Biblical Fellowship and Separation Goal: Encourage the Heaven Walk discourage worldly walk!! A. Session one! Objective: Discuss on Kinds of separation and fellowship: 1. Question!! How do we understand Separations and Fellowship? a. Leviticus 10:10 “ And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean; ( uncleanness) b. 2 Timothy 3:5 “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. ( Evil company) c. 2 Corinthians 6:16 “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people” (sin). 2. Session one!! Objective: Discuss on the Causes of separation and fellowship: Question!! Why should we separate and why ought we to fellowship!? a. James 4:8 “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” (Nearness with God”) b. 1 John 2:6 “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked” (Christian walk) c. Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”( company of Believers) B. Session two- Objective; discuss effects therein Biblical Fellowship and Separation. Question!!! What are the effects therein practicing fellowship and separation? a. (Loved) Luke 24:32 “And they said one to another, did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?” b. (Hated) John 15:19 “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” c. (Growth) Acts 4:13 “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” C. Session three –Objective: Discuss the result therein Biblical Fellowship and Separation. Question!!! How should we practice Biblical fellowship and separation?? a. (Love ) Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” ( Amos 3:3) b. (Hate) Proverbs 28:7 “Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father c. (Fear) Deuteronomy 20:1 “ When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.” Conclusion reading. Question! Who are we to fellowship with (God/ Jesus/ Family of Believer) and who are we to separate from (Satan/ Evil /World ) and why!!? (Heaven walk)
