Topic: THIS IS WHAT YOU LACK! Bible text: {Matthew19:16-22} The conversation between Jesus Christ and the young rich ruler here in the very eyes of His disciples is a food for thought for all christians that were seriously thirty and affectionate for the kingdom of God. Many at times we thought we have arrived yet we still lack ONE thing for us to come into perfection and enter the kingdom of God. One thing is to ask and get the appropriate answer and another is to imbibe and fulfill the will of God. This stubborn generation has failed to accept the truth which they hear everyday in every places about the kingdom of God most especially in the Africa countries. This is because the devil has already block their inner-hearings, tamed and win many into his kingdom. They were not immune to any of his viruses called Stubborness, procastination and poverty of mind Christians of this day never ask themselves,WHAT DO I LACK TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD We go enmass to our different churches on Sunday and during the week. We learnt so many things in our sunday school classes. We hear a good message from the altar of Holy Spirit. We received booklets, journals, tracts and magazines that nuture our minds to remain in faith and hopefully wait for His second coming yet we still lack one thing. It is not that we were deaf and blind to His words but we can not give up something like this young rich man. Jesus said, He that loveth father or mother more than Me, is not worthy of Me. And he that loveth son or daughter more than Me, is not worthy of Me And he that taketh not his cross and followeth after Me, is not worthy of Me. - {Matthew 10:37-38} And this is the compensation for us after we have done His will as it is been declare unto this young rich man who can not gave up his riches for the kingom of God And everyone that hath forsaken houses or brethren or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My names sake, shall receive a hundredfold and shall inherit everlasting life. - {Matthew 19:29} Jesus also spoke about the seven churches in Asia: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea according to the book of Revelation chapter 2-3. He commended them of their efforts and the good work of faith....speaking with the Ephesian church, I know thy works and thy labor and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them that are evil; and how thou hast tried them that say they are apostles and are not, and hast found them liars;... Nevertheless, I have something against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. - {Revelation 2:2-4} God and His son, Jesus Christ expected of us to be 100% perfect for us to enter into the kingdom of God that is why Jesus could not relent in effort to bring us to perfection via His words of rebuke, correction at times He chastised us being a good teacher (shepherd). We all lack one thing for us to gain advantage into the kingdom of God. Why not tell it to God in prayer and desist from doing it further as apostle Paul said it in {Romans 7:18-19} For I know that in me ( that is, in my flesh ) dwelleth no good thing; for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good, I find not. For the good that I would do, I do not; but the evil which I would not do, that I do. Truly, we can not be 100% perfect with our own wisdom but God want to see our ability first, our denial to flesh then He render us help from above. The kingdom of God suffer violence but the violent took it by force. I pray God will help us into perfection in Jesus name.
