But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. ” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ s power may rest on me AMEN. ( Letting Go Of The Future ) If I cant do something about a problem, its not a problem but a fact of life. Understanding this truth is a must for every leader, according to author John Maxwell. The Apostle Paul certainly understood it. He was a leader of leaders, who focused on his purpose, lived by his values and walked in Harmony with God. He determined to make an impact on the key cities of his world, and he did! His influence has since multiplied in missions of lives through the centuries. What was the key to his success? For one thing, he embraced the Thorn in his life that couldnt be changes. He let go of his expectations of God, of himself and of life expectations that couldnt be fulfilled. He refused to be crippled by bitterness, pity or self-defeat. He asked God to remove the thorn, but accepted God answer. He recognized Gods purpose in it. And he was satisfied by the reality of God s grace to help him live with it. Whatever his thorn it was a constant reminder that he was simply a man through whom a great God chose to work. Gods mighty grace to live victorious is made real to us as we embrace the things we cannot change in our lives AMEN. What problem in your life are you powerless to changes?
