Topic;more useless TV and movie trivia....I was talking with a friend about the new season of Under the Dome...I said the premise of this show reminds me of an old movie from the 1960s called The Bubble,done in 3D....My friend has one of those magical phones,that all you do is type in the question and voila...Everything you wanted to know about what you asked is there to be answered.....The Bubble was a Sci fi released Dec.21st...1966 in color and 3D..Written,produced and directed by Arch Oboler...It was re-released Nov 28th 1976 under the title...Fantastic invasion of planet Earth...Storyline...A young couple forced to land a small plane in a remote town where the people are behaving oddly....They attempt to escape the the town but discover there is a giant glass like force field surrounding the town that prevents anyone from leaving..Both have interesting concepts...what I find strange is how similar they are even though they were written nearly 50 yrs apart..As William Shatner would say...Weird or what?
