Quickly surpassed by two more expensive consoles that launched a year after the gap only widens as the wii u sales fall below Nintendos expectations. Second problem is that the 9 million people who own Wii Us dont support it much outside of anything thats not Mario or Zelda. Games that failed to sell 1 million copies on the Wii U ( many sold sub 4-500k) Bayonetta 2, zombie u, donkey Kong tropical freeze, nes remix, sonic lost world , Lego city undercover, Game & Wario. + more. Whats your thoughts and what can Nintendo do? The Wii U is the cheapest console of the 3, has the largest library with the most exclusives, FREE online multiplayer and backwards compatible yet its sells are sluggish and people who do buy it generally only buy the Mario games.
