Torah study was awesome this morning. This weeks parasha was Vayera and we studied the ways in which Abraham was tested by HaShem, leading up to the Akedah. He was tested to see if he believed in the promise for Isaac, tested to see how strong his friendship with G-d was, tested in regards to his interaction with Abimelech and culminating with the command to sacrifice Isaac. That is some tough tests and Abraham grew through them although it definitely showed he had some growing left to do. How is your faith being tested? Do you have the heart of G-d? What would you do if G-d asked you to sacrifice you most precious promise?
