Totally blown away right now! Speechless....sometimes life/situations/people grab you by the ankle and like a rabid pit bull they really really sling, shake the hell outta ya & do a number on you both mentally & emotionally at what seems to be the absolute worst time! BUT THEN, while sitting inside Starbucks reflecting yet trying to be stronger than my situation...a young kid comes up outta no where....hey sir, youre NFE Bodybuilder Derrick Scott right? And shakes my hand. With great humility and admiration he proceeds to tell me how he saw me with other friends in the gym, follows me on ig & southern muscle page, how Ive been a tremendous inspiration to him & he wanted to thank me. He really looks up to me & wants to be like me! I thanked him immensely & told him how much his words affected me in my time of crisis just when I needed a sense of focus & a recharging for the fight if you will. Truly incredible experience today, I thank God, the Universe,& that young man for having courage to introduce & express his heartfelt gratitude to someone hed never met, in doing so he strengthened me , giving me courage. Wow!-NFE No Freakin Excuses! (Not even when the chips are down ;-)).....I guess its true what they say its not important the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog (though this dog is pretty big too ;-)
