Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign France midfielder Etienne Capoue from Toulouse FC. The 25-year-old will undergo a medical at White Hart Lane before his signing is made official. Capoue scored seven times in 33 Ligue 1 appearances for Toulouse last season, and has played five times for France. He can also cover centre-back, a position Tottenham are short in having sold Steven Caulker to Cardiff, while Jan Vertonghen and Younes Kaboul are recovering from injuries. He will be the fourth addition to Spurs roster for the upcoming season, following Paulinho, Nacer Chadli and Roberto Soldado.
