Tottenham have run out of patience with their misfiring strikers and will make a £15million bid to bring Englands rising star Saido Berahino to White Hart Lane in January. Spurs have made a fairly good start under new boss Mauricio Pochettino with three wins and two draws from seven games. But the Argentinean knows his side would be sitting higher than seventh in the table if they had managed to score more than the nine goals they have hit so far. Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado have been the main culprits as the two big-name strikers have combined to find the back of the net only once in the Premier League this campaign. As a result Spurs hope to snap up West Brom striker Berahino for £15m in the next transfer window after being impressed by his five-goal start to the Premier League season. Chief scout Ian Broomfield is understood to be monitoring the progress of the 21-year-old.
