Touching narration about Abu Uwais and Umar Quinn. Narrated to me from our elder brother Abdul-Kareem (Al-Furqaan NJ) when he pondered over the recent health issues of the noble brother Umar Quinn. He texted, May Allah bless our brother Umar Quinn I watched him try to fight off his illness for a few days, but it seemed to get worst. At the Masjid Rahmah lectures this pass Saturday I told him that he didnt look to good and that he should let someone else speak in his place. Well I looked up and there he was giving his lecture. He reminded me of our brother Abu Uwais (Rahimahulaah) he was ill at times when he would get invited to speak in various cities. One day we were in the car traveling to a lecture and I looked at him and said you dont look so good lets go back home. He turned to me and said whats wrong with you man this is the Dawatus Salafiyyah lets get to this lecture I loved that brother may Allah give him Jannah Firdaus (End of Text) By Allah our brothers are from the most courageous individuals walking the Earth. We have watch them battle threw illness, death threats, slander, rumors, terrorism, people of desires etc.,and they have not wavered. I ask Allah to preserve our teachers and continue to make their hearts firm upon His religion.
