Tough decisions ahead with a lot still to watch and figure out in regards to PollyGrind. This part of the festival is the part I hate. Many filmmakers are made happy, but many more get discouraged, disappointed and some even pissed at me personally. But its not at all personal. Its all about what works, what fits, etc. I say this all the time, but there is no formula to this festival. There are no guarantees. PollyGrind is about the unexpected. Its about going places others dont necessarily. We love horror, but we are not a horror festival. We love all genres, including documentaries and comedies. What is programmed is only limited to what is submitted. This years fest will be a leaner event just over three days with way fewer features than years past. But it will be filled with things to think about, as well as inspiration, heart, fun, scares and hopefully be the best PollyGrind so far. Forward and upward. #PollyXposed
