Tough week. My mother lost a friend at McCrite today. Miss MaeBelle was in her 90s and feisty. She was a wickedly good piano player. She told many tales of all the male suitors who came to see her play/sing at bars in Chicago - and Ive no doubt they were true based on her naughty smile when shed tell those tales. Her fave song to play was When the Saints Go Marchin In. An appropriate send-off for her.
