Tourettes: I was sitting on the ferry and this 20 year old man wrote me a poem within ten minutes. This is how it goes: I bet it makes you cringe I bet you laugh and stare I bet you make nasty jokes About that kid over there I bet he feels alone I bet she think shes weird Theres something you can learn So lean and lend me ears You can never know How painful the public can be The pain illness can bring I dont want to go to the movies I dont want to take the bus Lets just stay home safe Where nobody can laugh at us Next time that you feel down Just take a look around Ignorance is everywhere But only you can bring you down So dont say sorry Dont EVER say sorry People should be saying that to you For staring and thinking its funny.
