Town U18s 4 Gt Harwood U18s. 1 Another fantastic team performance from the U18s ensured they keep applying pressure at the top of the league. Thats 5 wins on the bounce now. The game was played in really windy conditions and it had a huge effect on the second half with the opposition keeper capable of kicking the ball the full length of the Victory Ground!! The game was wrapped up with 3 goals from Max Smith and Joe Dixon being involved with the scrambled first goal. Toby Wilkinson was the dominant player in the middle of the park and rightly earned the MoM. But there were good performances all over the pitch. Keeper Jordan Howarth-Hynes did well to deal with the constant 2nd half barrage of long kicks from the Gt Harwood Keeper. This was Joe Dixons last match before moving down South. He has worn the Town Shirt for 7 years and has developed into a fine player. Joe was taken off for the final minute so all players could rightfully show their respect. All the best Joe.
