Town of Three Hills Employment Opportunity BYLAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER Three Hills is a community of 3,230 residents, and offers excellent education facilities, an abundance of community activities, a beautiful trail system and well maintained recreation facilities. The Town of Three Hills is accepting applications for a Bylaw Enforcement Officer. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Bylaw Enforcement Officer will provide effective patrol coverage and enforcement of municipal by-laws. Investigate complaints from the general public, investigate nuisance and unsightly properties and other bylaw infractions, conduct regular patrols and enhance public education and awareness. Assistance will be provided to other Municipal Departments and may conduct court related duties. Your must possess excellent judgment, interpersonal and public relations skills in promoting positive relations on behalf of the Town of Three Hills. QUALIFICATIONS: • 2 year post secondary diploma in an approved Social, Community or Protective Services field or up to two years related experience • a working knowledge of the provincial court system • experience in report writing • proficiency with computers • customer service experience • possession of a valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers license • no previous criminal convictions or serious driving infractions • a current Standard First Aid Certificate Preference may be given to applicants who have experience working with Municipal Bylaws.
