Town planner said she was taken out of context when it was first reported. Khairiah Talha said the high parking charges is not the only solution for a smart city. “What I actually said was; before we need to impose high parking charges in the city, we need to have multi-faceted, efficient and integrated public transport and I regret that it was not as reported,” she told Cars, Bikes & Trucks. Kindly take note as well it was a suggestion by a town planner and not a move by the government. .
