Towns receive P1 M assistance fund Governor Ruth Padilla handed P1 million each to six municipalities in the province as part of the Municipal Assistance Fund of the Provincial Government during the flag raising ceremony held last March 3 at the Peoples Stage. The Municipal Assistance Fund aims to assist in the fulfillment of the proposed project of the said municipalities. Initially, the municipality of Ambaguio, Dupax del Sur, Villaverde, Solano, Kasibu and Aritao received theirP1 million assistance. The municipality of Kasibu also recieved another P1 million as share from the Municipal Assistance Fund for 2012. Other municipalities will also receive their assistance fund upon completion of necessary requirements said Governor Padilla. For 2014, the Muncipal Assistance Fund will increase to P1.5 million, while the Barangay Assistance Fund will be from P40,000 to P50,000 per year, Governor Padilla added. # krizel
