Toyota waiting room diaries: hour 4 I sit. I sit and I watch the parade of automobile owners come and go, but still I sit. They are a harmless if not somewhat stereotypical group: the lady watching The View and agreeing aloud with every word Whoopie says as if she were the black, lesbian Joel Osteen- another kindly, white haired, grandmother type who immediately enters the room and turns the television to The Price is Right. The technician says my problem is just a cable. Toyota has deemed it appropriate to charge over 300 dollars for this particular cable. I guess they buy them at Best Buy. Said cable also takes 2 hours to install, leaving me to cancel my days appointments and instead post long and somewhat inappropriate Facebook updates. Stay tuned.
