Tracy Stack memorial ride A casual bike ride and potluck picnic will be held Saturday, July 26, to honor the late Tracy Stack, who assisted many trail and other recreation projects during her career with the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. A $20 donation will cover some basic expenses and build the Friends of Tracy Stack fund, which has been established to support rail-trail projects in which Tracy was involved. Meet at Cedar Creek Park (3 miles south of West Newton) at 5 p.m., ride starts at 5:30 and will go 6 or 8 miles along the Great Allegheny Passage. Then the fun and laughter - just what Tracy would have wanted - begins with pulled pork for all, a keg, water, and live music by Tracys friend and colleague Mike Piaskowski.
