Trade Pacific could not go past Papiri market to deliver materials and supplies for all the schols in Aiya LLG area due to the poor state of its road and the fact that Wabi bridge hasnt been fixed all these years. This is forcing vehicles carrying the supplies to drop them off at Papiri market. Both the Teachers and Students are now walking very long distances to collect the supplies at Papiri and return to their respective locations. It is sad to see those that are walking up as far as Imu-Roalomanda, Rakuare and Kandopa/ Lakira. The K500,000 allocation for Road improvements from Yaria into Kagua under the 2013 PSIP has not gone beyond Ibia too. If education sector in parts of Aiya is affected, just imagine how the other sectors i the same LLG are affected too. The question is, Do they deserve such harsh treatments.
