Traded Risk SwD – Analyst Jersey City, NJ SEND RESUME AND RATE TO hr@intellibconsulting Role Summary Given the overarching Global Re-architecture Program underway within Traded Risk as well as the ongoing global and regional regulatory requirements in the risk space and the associated development work required to meet such requirements, Traded Risk in the Americas has budgeted for a contract Business Analyst to onboard the US onto the strategic global infrastructure. This position’s duration is expected to be at least until year end. The analyst will be primarily located in Jersey City but will also spend time in NY; and will report to the a Project Lead in Traded Risk SwD Americas. The candidate will work on global, regional and local projects through to implementation as identified by the business plan. A majority of these projects will be driven by regulatory requirements (DFA 165, Volcker) and will require significant project support and delivery in defined timeframes. Additional regional and global project work will support efforts for our Traded Risk Business. The position will provide expertise in the areas of analysis, specifications, processes and procedures, testing, quality standards and software releases. The Traded Risk Software Delivery (SWD) team lies within Global Risk. The candidate will have 4+ years of business analysis experience and traded markets knowledge; some knowledge and experience within Global Banking and Markets and, preferably, some exposure to Risk and Risk concepts (particularly with the generation and understanding of risk analytics, how they play into VaR calculations), financial product depth and breadth to include some of fixed income, fixed income derivatives, futures, credit risk, limits, exceptions, reconciliations, etc; excellent communication skills working with both business and IT professionals. Key Responsibilities • Work closely with business and change delivery to gather and detail requirements. Create and deliver detailed system specifications (listings of all the features / aspects that the final solution must have to solve the problem). • Engage in detailed analysis and documentation (functional requirements) of data, feeds, and processes to provide clarity to management and developers. • Work closely with developers and/or the development lead to ensure detailed understanding and comprehensive requirements. • Refine the understanding and communication from the SMEs (business) and convert to clear and concise vision necessary to create a solution. • Communicate clearly and regularly with developers and project managers regarding status, changing or evolving requirements. • Test and analyze solutions / software / results provided by the development team for adherence to the specifications; provide feedback to the developers and assist in the overall testing and delivery process. • Resolve conflicting requirements amongst business stakeholders; eliminate ambiguity. • Develop close relationships with the business end-users.
