Traders and analysts expect slight increases in corn and soybean crop estimates from USDA Monday. The average pre-report estimate puts the corn yield at 175.2 bushels per acre, up one bushel from last month. Crop size is put at 14.5 billion bushels, about a 75 million bushel increase. The trade expects a half bushel increase in the soybean yield, to 47.6 bushels per acre. The crop is pegged at almost 3.97 billion bushels, 40 million above last month’s forecast. Corn and wheat ending stocks are expected to climb, while the soybean carryout is called lower than last month.
