Traditional donor countries can learn a lot from emerging economies who are lifting millions of people out of poverty, says Erik Solheim, chairman of the OECD Development Assistance Committee. South-south cooperation has proven effective in creating jobs, building infrastructure and promoting trade, and closer cooperation between emerging and traditional donors will bring the world closer to reaching its goals for sustainable development.
