Traffic Advisory: All primary and numerous secondary roads on base are scheduled to undergo maintenance for the next 6-9 months. Work on primary roads will begin at the Southern end of Vandegrift Blvd. in the 20-Area, Nov 8. Patrons may experienced intermittent delays during non-peak hours due to preparatory cleaning this week on Vandegrift. Work on Basilone Rd. will begin in the 24-Area at the Vandegrift Blvd. intersection on Nov 14. All roadwork will be performed during non-peak hours, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., or on weekends to minimize disruptions to traffic flow. Maintenance will occur in one travel lane at a time to prevent a full closure of any road. The work will take place on quarter mile stretches of road at a time, but may change based on traffic conditions.
