Traffic Advisory: Eastbound Lane of Helena Bridge in Coahoma County to be Temporarily Closed for Additional Work WHO: Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT). WHAT: Additional work to the Helena Bridge on Highway 49 in Coahoma County will cause the eastbound lane to be temporarily closed down for crews to install new pull boxes and to pull wire through previously installed conduit on the bridge. Traffic will be reduced to one-lane while the technology is being installed. Wide-loads greater than 12 feet will not be able to pass while the work is being performed. WHERE: The eastbound lane of the Helena Bridge on Highway 49 in Coahoma County. WHEN: Work will begin Monday, March 17 and is expected to conclude on Thursday, March 20. The eastbound lane will be closed beginning at 7:30 A.M. each morning and will be reopened for two-way traffic at 6:00 P.M. each afternoon. # # #
